People make decisions about students every day without asking students enough questions.
The 2025 State of the Student report recorded 6,866 responses from North Carolina A&T students. For us, the number mattered because it represented something larger: a community willing to describe its needs, habits, frustrations, and ambitions in its own words.
Listening can be infrastructure
Data is not valuable because it makes a deck look official. It is valuable when it changes what gets built. The report helped us move from intuition alone toward evidence—without pretending that numbers can replace lived experience.
Saint looks for the human sentence behind every row. Daisy becomes visible in the pattern. B-Loved sees a business asset with a responsibility attached: if students trust you with the truth, your next decision should prove you heard them.
