Why We Built the Aggie Archives
College Daze Aggie Archives is part of the larger story of how College Daze turns HBCU student culture into creative infrastructure.
The Aggie Archives began with a simple fear: too much of student life was happening without being kept.
We started gathering photographs, videos, flyers, faces, and the small evidence that proves a culture existed exactly as its people remember it. Then the idea grew. We pushed for the school to fund photographers and videographers, and we worked toward an affordable yearbook that students could actually own.
An archive is infrastructure
It is easy to call documentation an extra. It is not. Archives become references for designers, proof for partners, memory for alumni, and raw material for the next generation. Years later, a photograph can unlock a product story, a campaign, or a tradition that would otherwise be flattened.
Saint collects the fragments. Daisy gives them meaning together. B-Loved sees the business clearly: preserving culture creates an asset, but the first obligation is to the people whose lives made it valuable.
